Little League CO Jacarezinhos – Brazil District 2 (Chartered for 2026)
The Little League CO Jacarezinhos is part of Brazil District 2, officially chartered for the 2026 season, dedicated to promoting free access to official information about the Little League Baseball and Softball Program in Portuguese.
Our mission is to help schools, communities, and families in Brazil understand how to create, register, and manage local Little League teams, following the same structure and values practiced worldwide — education, teamwork, respect, discipline, and joy through sport.
In 2025, the President of Little League CO Jacarezinhos attended the Little League Softball World Series (LLSWS) in Greenville, North Carolina, to learn more about the League’s organization and observe how the departments of the LLSWS interact with the Little League Umpiring Program — the division responsible for training, certifying, and selecting umpires for official tournaments. Since officiating children’s games requires special training, both in mechanics and emotional development, this experience was essential to bringing those standards to Brazil.
We invite all parents, educators, and volunteers who don’t yet know baseball or softball to discover the values taught by Little League — respect, friendship, inclusion, and the joy of learning together.

O Presidente da Little League CO Jacarezinhos esteve presente na Little League Softball World Series (LLSWS) em 2025, realizada em Greenville, Carolina do Norte, para conhecer mais de perto a organização e o funcionamento da Liga.
Durante a visita, ele observou como é estruturado o relacionamento entre os departamentos da LLSWS e a organização responsável pelo treinamento, certificação e indicação de árbitros da Little League. Isso porque a arbitragem em jogos infantis requer capacitação específica, que vai muito além da mecânica e do conhecimento técnico das regras — envolve também sensibilidade, empatia e preparo para lidar com crianças em processo de formação esportiva e humana.
A Little League CO Jacarezinhos, filiada oficialmente ao Brasil District 2 e chartered para 2026, busca disseminar no Brasil os valores centrais da Little League International: respeito, trabalho em equipe, disciplina e cidadania.
